Since moving to S-E Asia in 2017 I have been fortunate enough to have had several encounters with the King of snakes, the King cobra (Ophiophagus hannah). So far I have been able to observe wild Kings in Thailand (Phang Nga, Phetchaburi & Krabi) and in Indonesia (N.Sumatra and N.Sulawesi). A couple of the photos below are of rescued animals from Phuket and Phang Nga provinces photographed prior to release, but most images are kings that I have found while out searching in the forest/other habitats.
